Campaigners have today delivered a petition to the office of Stroud’s MP Siobhan Baillie, calling on her to cancel the cut to Universal Credit that will see more than 5,000 local families £220 worse off by Christmas.
Branch member and Stroud District Council leader Doina Cornell last month spoke at an English Labour Network event in Stroud, where she attacked the “anti-socialist trope that you can’t be both patriotic and socialist”.
