Trevor Hall has won the Stroud district council by-election in Dursley.
“I am asking the council to spend some of that money – £80,000 is all it needs – to restore the 62 bus to an hourly service, and restore normality to many people in Dursley who rely on that bus every day.”
Stroud MP has given his personal backing to Trevor Hall in his Dursley by-election campaign.
Trevor, who has lived in Dursley and Cam all his life, formerly worked at Lister’s and Cam Mills.
The party’s pledge to invest in the railways was well-received by commuters, waiting to catch the train to work.
Angry at the decision to cut the route from hourly to two-hourly, people are being asked to sign a petition calling on the Conservative county council to put some money into the route.
